Abstract

In a plastic composition for taking dental impressions as described in Specification 754,375, the zinc fluoride is replaced by an alkali metal ferric fluoride. U.S.A. Specification 2,657,971 also is referred to.ALSO:In a plastic composition for taking dental impressions as described in Specification 754,375 the zinc fluoride is replaced by an alkali metal ferric fluoride. In an example 5 gm. of potassium ferric fluoride is added to 72 gm. alkali metal alginate, 220 gm. diatomaceous earth, 7 gm. tertasodium pyrophosphate, and 40 gm. calcium sulphate hemi-hydrate in the proportions by weight of 72 : 220 : 7 : 40.
