753,638. Spring upholstery. HELLER, M. July 29, 1954, No. 22146/54. Class 52(4). A flexible strip member a is supported from the corners of a rectangular frame or area thereon by oppositely arranged tension springs b, c, d, at least three of said springs being radiatingly arranged at each corner, springs b being attached to the narrow ends of member a, springs c being obliquely attached to intermediate portions of the plate and springs d extending substantially parallel to the member. Marginal springs d are composed of component springs provided at their joining points f with panel filling elements g of chains, springs, cords or the like. The member a may be eccentrically arranged and may be common to adjoining units.
