561,656. Mattresses &c. HELLER, M. Nov. 26, 1942, No. 16786. [Class 52 (iv)] A wire mattress has side members a, Fig. 1, anchored at the corners of a frame and incorporating springs, connected by cross members b which may include springs or be of wire, chains, links or like elements, the mattress having free edges. Several such units may be mounted successively along a frame, and two superposed surfaces may be constructed with a common spring member along one edge. Intermediate springs g, Fig. 3, connected by separate tie members may be employed.
