Abstract
751,388. Hand trucks. EMTAGE, J. E. R. Feb. 22, 1955 [March 3, 1954], No. 6268/54. Class 108 (1). A hand truck for supporting horticultural machines for movement between rows of bushes, comprises a frame constructed of members 10, 11 and 12 supported intermediate of its ends by one or more wheels and has shafts 32 projecting both forwardly and rearwardly. The members 10 are each in two parts hinged together at 29 so that by removing a bolt 31 the parts 27 may be pivoted upwardly to permit a plucking machine to be mounted on the members 12. A cage 25 for a box to receive the plucked material may be fitted beneath the frame, and the wheel fork 17 is vertically adjustable in the support tube 16. In a modification, the wheel fork is adjustably pivoted about the frame and the wheel chain drives the plucking machine.
