750,958. Hydraulic jacks. BRANICK, C. E. Feb. 16, 1954 [Dec. 11, 1953], No. 4564/54. Class 78 (3). In a portable pneumatic lifting jack, a lifting carriage 17, provided with rollers 19, 20 engaging guides 9 secured to the cylinder 2, is suspended from the piston-rod 14 by links 16, and is provided with a pair of laterally adjustable crutches 25. Extension of the jack is effected by applying compressed air to a valve 26 on a pipe 27. Wheels 4 and handles 3, 3a facilitate movement of the jack.
