750,574. Lubricating. ATVIDABERGS SPARVAXLAR & SIGNALFABRIKS AKTIEBOLAG. July 6, 1954 [July 8, 1953], No. 19775/54. Class 12 (3). A lubricant distributer adapted on each pressure stroke of a feed pump to feed lubricant to one or more points, comprises a pump piston 8 and a valve slide piston 12 in cylinders which are in communication with each other, the piston 8 being pressed outwardly by a spring 11 towards the feed pump, and the piston 12 being pressed away from the lubricating point by a spring 13. The head of the piston 8 is located in a chamber 7 which is connected by a duct 18 to the cylinder 6 of piston 12, which is formed with an axial passage 15, a diametral passage 16 and a peripheral groove 17. When the chamber 7 is put under pressure from the feed pump, the valve piston slide 12 is moved outwardly until communication between the duct 15 and the groove 17 is broken. Then the oil pressure causes the piston 8 to be moved inwardly against the action of the spring 11 and the lubricant in cylinder 5 presses the piston slide 12 further out of the cylinder 6, so that eventually the groove 17 emerges into the space 14 and lubricant passes to space 14 and to the lubricating point.
