The coupling between a tractor and a trailer of an articulated vehicle comprises a ring 9 secured to the tractor and a ring 6 secured to the trailer interconnected by complementary rings 10, 7 joined by a transverse cross-shaft 8 which allows movement of the trailer relative to the tractor about a transverse axis. The bearings 13 which are secured to the ring 7 and which accommodate the shaft 8 may also support a cross-member 14 forming part of an intermediate frame of a bellows vestibule.
