749,041. Personal sanitary conveniencies. JOHNSON, A. Feb. 4, 1954, No. 3362/54. Class 26. A sanitary urinary appliance for males comprises, as shown in Fig. 1, a flexible urine receptacle 1 adapted for attachment to the user by a cord or the like passing through a loop 18 and divided into an inlet chamber 24 and a collecting chamber 24a by a partition permitting urine to flow down into the collecting chamber through openings 30 but preventing its return, a flexible sleeve 7 detachably secured to the inlet opening 2 and a valve-controlled outlet 14 with a screw-down valve. The sleeve may be supplied mounted on a removable cardboard former with its periphery having an adhesivecoated fabric band covered with a removable strip of gauze adapted to be secured to a corresponding band on the receptacle. The receptacle may be of transparent material and the partition comprise, as shown in Fig. 7, two flexible sheets 25 each of which is secured to the receptacle along its upper edge 26 and to the other sheet in the areas 27, 28 and 29.
