Classes 1(2) and 1(3) In a process for preparing fluotitanates an aqueous mixture of titanium tetrachloride and hydrofluoric acid is reacted with a water-soluble fluoride, which may be the acid salt such as potassium hydrogen fluoride; the crystalline product of fluotitanate settles out. The reaction temperature is maintained between 15‹C. and 70‹C.
