In a water-jet pump of the type comprising a centrifugal pump situated at the top of a well and drawing liquid from a rising main in the well and wherein a nozzle in the rising main is supplied with pressure liquid from the pump by means of a pressure pipe, the pressure pipe 2 is located inside the rising main 1. The main 1 has an extension 3 and a suction pipe 4 is connected to the extension 3. The injector device is mounted on the pipe 4 and is connected to the main 1 by a diffusion pipe 7 and to the pressure pipe 2 by a funnel portion 13 and a pipe 12 which merge from a crescent-shape cross-section at the top to an elliptical or circular cross-section at the bottom.
