Abstract
735,512. Cathode-ray tubes. DYNAPORT RADIO & TELEVISION, Ltd., and HOFMEISTER, 1. April 21, 1953 [Jan. 21, 1952], No. 1656/52. Class 39 (1). An inductor with a magnetically saturable core is connected in the circuit of a scanning coil of a cathode-ray tube and is so adjusted in position in the field of the tube focusing magnet that the deflection is linear with time. The inductor 3 and ferrite core 4 is mounted on a pivot 7 by a stirrup 2. The stirrup is adjusted by a lever. The focusing magnet 9 may be a permanent magnet.
