Abstract

857,325. Cathode-ray oscilloscopes. TELEFUNKEN G.m.b.H. July 9, 1959 [Oct. 2, 1958], No. 23678/59. Class 40(7). The deflection coil 4 of a cathoderay tube 1 is wound on toroidal ferromagnetic core 2 and connected in the anode circuit of frame output valve 5, the core carrying also an oppositely - mounted coil 3 bridged by an adjustable resistor 8 of maximum value less than the resistance of coil 3. The output source may be a transistor and a similar coil system orthogonal to that shown may be added for line deflection.
