735,380. Ventilators. RICHALET, P. March 13, 1953 [March 27, 1952; Oct. 14, 1952; Feb. 23, 1953], No. 7024/53. Class 137. The invention relates to devices for ventilating rooms, vehicles or for evacuating the products of combustion of heating or cooking apparatus. As shown, a pair of concentric apertures 41, 52 are made in a wall 40 to accommodate a piece 42 having a cylindrical outer portion 45, a toroidal bent portion connecting to a short cylindrical portion 44, and a cylindrical conduit 51, a cylindrical piece 43 being provided between portions 44, 45, being nearer to portion 44 so as to form a passage 46 opening into a chamber 48. Two or more radial partitions such as 55 may be provided. A frusto-conical extension 56 is carried by the external edge of piece 43 and a circular baffle 58 supported by a cylindrical grid 59 is provided opposite the inlet 57 and outlet 49. A baffle is provided in conduit 51 comprising a conical piece 60 coaxial with conduit 51 and supported by the partitions such as 55, and a frusto-conical partition 62 secured by its larger base to the inner wall of conduit 51 and having a cylindrical extension 63 on its smaller end. Several such baffles may be mounted in conduit 51.
