735,238. Drinking fountains. THROWER, S. E., BROMIGE, A., and FINCH & CO., Ltd., B. Oct. 9, 1953 [Oct. 9, 1952], No. 25344/52. Class 69 (1). A drinking fountain comprises a waste-water bowl 10 provided with a flat back 11 for fixing against a wall, an upwardly directed nozzle 13 connected to the drinking water supply and a detachable halfhemispherical apron 17 which extends down to the top of the bowl and which has a clearance hole 19 for the water jet. A control device, e.g. a lever 14 movable in all lateral directions or a push-button, for the water jet is mounted on the top of the fitting 12 carrying the nozzle and a volume regulator 15 is mounted in the lower part of the fitting.
