[Also in Group XXXIX] A beam of ultra-sonic waves is reflected by a door on to a receiver which responds by disabling an alarm circuit. If the beam is broken by movement of the door or by intervention of an intruder the alarm circuit operates. Suitable transmitters and receivers are described (see Group XXXIX).
