Abstract

1323451 Burglar alarms SONICAID Ltd 15 Jan 1971 [17 Jan 1970] 2391/70 Heading G4N In a method of detecting breaking glass, the resulting ultrasonic sound waves are monitored by a frequency sensitive transducer and amplifier so as to operate an alarm. The transducer is preferably resonant at 40 kHz and mounted near the inside of a window. The resulting signal may be rectified and used to operate an alarm controlling relay.
