Abstract
1342552 Intruder alarms PYROTECTOR Inc 28 Feb 1972 [5 April 1971] 9152/72 Heading G4N An intruder alarm comprises a first detector responsive to a change in frequency between a transmitted signal and a received signal, a second detector responsive to change in light intensity and means to actuate an alarm in response to signals from both detectors. The first detector may be an acoustic Doppler system operating on 40 kHz which after integration of the Doppler signal feeds an AND gate. The second detector may be photo-resistive or photo-generative and provides an output to the AND gate only following a rate of change of light above a certain value. Exit and entrance delays are included between the AND gate and the alarm to permit authorized setting and resetting. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 964,752.
