733,330. Spring surface reinforcement. GENERAL MOTORS CORPORATION. Dec. 31, 1953 [Jan. 12, 1953], No. 36281/53. Class 52 (4). A torsion rod 50, bent into a central loop 52 and lateral loops 68, 60 in a plane at an acute angle with that of the central loop, is secured beneath the central springs of an assembly of sinuous wire springs 22 by means of clips within which the limbs of the rod 50 can pivot.
