Abstract

776,984. Spring upholstery. TINSLEY WIRE INDUSTRIES, LTD. Nov. 11, 1955 [Aug. 14, 1954], No. 23679/54. Class 52 (4). The lowest turns 2 of coiled upholstery springs are interconnected by channel members 3 which are squeezed around parts of the turns and by tension springs 4 which are attached to the springs and members 3 preferably where the latter are squeezed. Preferably members 3 extend transversely of a spring assembly and springs 4 longitudinally thereof but some tension springs may also extend transversely. A transverse channel member may be in two aligned parts connected by a tension spring.
