732,778. Gas-turbine plant. NATIONAL RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION. Oct. 10, 1952 [Oct. 10, 1951], No. 23614/51. Drawings to Specification. Class 110 (3). [Also in Group XIII] In a gas-turbine plant air from the compressor is passed through one heat exchanger unit (see Group XIII), whilst hot gas from the low-pressure turbine 'is passed through a similar heat exchanger unit, heat being transferred from the hot gas to the cold air by a molten metal such as sodium, which is circulated in turn through the two units. It is stated that the heat exchanger units may be built into the ends of the Compressor and lowpressure turbine frames. Specification 654,395, [Group XIII], is referred to.
