Abstract

[Also in Group I] The wall 1 of a strainer separator has a plurality of holes 2 each of which houses an easily replaceable filter 3. The larger crosssection of a hole is at the inner surface of the wall. The filters may comprise cotton fibre, sponge, porcelain, or wire netting, and, as shown in Fig. 4, the filters comprise sand between perforate discs. Specification 21200/03, [Class 23], is referred to.
