727,534. Dressing grinding-wheels. DAVIS, Ltd., S., and DARBY, W. Jan. 11, 1954 [March 24, 1953], No. 8020/53. Class 60. A slide 13 carrying a crush-dressing roller (not shown) is reciprocated on a guide 12 by a sinebar 34 adjustably secured to a verticallyreciprocating slide 17. The slide 13 is secured by screws 21 to a block 20 loaded by springs 18 and provided with a pivotally-mounted shoe to co-operate with the sine-bar. The latter is pivotally connected at 35 to the slide 17 and is held by a screw 35a against a gauge piece 41 which may be replaced by one of different thickness to alter the stroke of the slide 13. A cam 25 driven by gearing 28, 29, 30 reciprocates the slide 17 which is loaded by a spring 23.
