Abstract

727,364. Securing trays to chair arms. MENDLE, J. Dec. 8, 1953 [April 24, 1953], No. 11422/53. Class 52 (3). A tray 8 is fitted on its underside with a clamp having on one side a pair of spaced abutments 3 opposed by a central adjustable abutment 7. Preferably the adjustable abutment is a screw mounted in a lug 5 which, together with the abutments 3, can pivot to fold against the underside of the article. The tray may be detachable and have stubs 10 engaging resilient sockets 9, rubber feet 11 and pads 3a, 7b preventing damage to the chair arm.
