[A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Oct. 30, 1944.] [Class 61 (ii)] The jaws of a clamping device consist of a back stop 3 fixed to the base plate 1 by pins 7 and a screw 9 in conjunction with retaining devices 8 and a cam 2 rotatably mounted on the axle 4 and actuated to rotate in an anticlockwise direction by a spring so as to grip the wood 10.
