725,639. Powder metallurgy. NATIONAL CASH REGISTER CO. Aug. 24, 1953 [Sept. 12, 1952], No. 32275/53. Class 83 (4). High density articles are made from a mixture of iron powder with from 0.25 to 2.00 per cent by weight of molybdenum disulphide powder. If desired up to 0.75 per cent by weight of powdered graphite and up to 1 per cent by weight of powdered zinc stearate may be included. The mixture is compacted at about 100,000 lbs. per square inch and sintered at 2070‹ F. for 30 to 45 minutes.
