Abstract

Textile fabrics consisting of synthetic linear polyamide threads and/or fibres of different titre, e.g. stockings having a welt and leg of different denier threads, are dyed with cellulose acetate dispersed dyestuffs in a bath having a pH of 3-5.5, whereby level dyeings are obtained. The acidity of the bath is adjusted by the addition, for example, of acetic acid.
