725,108. Doors for vehicles. DAIMLERBENZ AKT.-GES. Sept. 7, 1953 [Sept. 9, 1952], No. 24719/53. Class 103 (2). The bottom part of the door of a vehicle covers only the upper part of the door sill which is formed with a bulge 3 embraced at least partly by a sealing strip 4 on the door. As shown, the strip is grooved to provide a labyrinth type of seal, and extends round the bottom edge of the door. The lower part of the door sill is covered by material 6 unaffected by stones thrown up during travel.
