Abstract

722,837. Visible signalling apparatus. PYRENE CO., Ltd. May 5, 1953 [May 5, 1952] No. 11356/52. Class 118 (2). [Also in Group XXI]. In a fire extinguishing or other apparatus or installation employing a fluid under pressure, there is provided a device for indicating whether or not the apparatus has been operated, comprising a plunger 16 which is projected when fluid under pressure passes along a pipe 4. The plunger is held lightly in its inner position by a circlip 12 co-operating with' a conical enlargement 18 and is held positively in its projected position by another circlip 14. The plunger engages washers 20, 22 to prevent leakage of the fluid.
