Abstract

722,621. Pallets for handling loads. AUSTIN CROMPTON PARKINSON ELECTRIC VEHICLES, Ltd. (Motormeccanica Soc. Per Azioni). May 8, 1953 [May 12, 1952], No. 11925/52. Class 78 (4). The members illustrated in Fig. 1 are spaced as indicated in Fig. 2 so that the recesses 12 may receive bricks 15 together with which they form a base on which may be piled a stack of bricks. The stack may then be lifted by the tines 17 of a fork lift truck inserted as indicated in Fig. 2. The dimensions of the members 10 may be chosen so that the bricks in the stack are closely bonded or so as to leave air spaces between the bricks for circulation of heating gases during manufacture. The member 10 may be permanently interconnected by suitable struts or spars.
