[Also in Group XVII] A crate for carrying a motor vehicle has a skeletal base, sides and ends, and a pair of channels 11 spaced to receive the road wheels. In the form shown, one end 7 of the crate can be lowered so that portions 12 on it form ramps leading to the channel 11. The crate may have legs 5 and platforms 14 for receiving the legs of a crate above in a stack. It has lifting eyes 15.
