719,549. Plate racks. TURLEY & WILLIAMS, Ltd., and RENTON, J. G. July 7, 1952 [July 7, 1951], No. 16164/51 Class 28(2) [Also in Group XI] A detachable plate rack for ovens or stoves is characterized in that a framework of the rack is furnished with projecting portions adapted to engage sockets or the like mounted on or forming part of the splash back frame or alternatively to constitute legs upon which the rack can rest when used separately from the oven or stove. As shown a main framework 1 formed from a length of rod has corners which are furnished with loop-shaped legs 1a two of which are received by sockets constituted by the upper ends of the tubular splash back framework 5 when the rack is in position above the stove. The main framework also comprises rods 2 and a rod 3 of zig-zag formation. A subsidiary framework 4 is secured to the underside of the main framework its ends being turned upwardly to constitute handles 4a whereby the rack may be carried in the manner of a tray.
