Abstract

802,369. Hearth stands, drip trays. HILL, C. April 12, 1956 [Jan. 13, 1955], No. 1061/55. Class 126 [Also in Group VI] A cooking appliance comprises a grilll with a series of longitudinally inclined bars arranged to extend over an open fire. As shown, a horizontal grill 10 consisting of a frame 12 with bars 13 mounted on legs 14 supports an inclined grill 11 comprising a frame 17 with. bars 18. The side limbs of frame 17 have hooks 20 which engage one of the bars 13 and the frame is supported on brackets 21 formed by the bent ends of the side limbs of frame 12. A drip pan 24 is positioned beneath the lower ends of bars 18 and a drip tray 22 is secured under bars 18 just above their lower ends. Legs 14 have screw-threaded upper ends held by nuts 26 in bushes 25 secured to grill 10. Alternatively the upper portion of each leg may be slidable in its bush 25, a grub screw being provided to lock the leg in position.
