714,507. Indicating-apparatus. CAMBRIDGE INSTRUMENT CO., Ltd. July 10, 1952 (Aug. 16, 1951], No. 19337/51. Class 106 (4) Apparatus for measuring the differential response from two torques, produced by the deflections of two movements of Bourdon type a, b, comprises a pivoted indicating or other measuring spindle c to which is attached one end of each of two springs g, h, the other ends of which are attached respectively to the two movements. In the apparatus shown, the two Bourdon tubes a, b communicate with, mercury filled tubes d, eanchored to a frame f in which the spindle c. is pivoted. The springs g, h are spiral hair springs and are attached to-collets i, j secured to the spindle c.
