Abstract
714,011. Hydraulic clutches. HYDRAULIC COUPLING PATENTS, Ltd. June 26, 1952 [July 5, 1951], No. 16137/52. Class 69 (2) The drive between an input shaft and two alternative output shafts passes through the couplings, one of which is emptied, and in which one surrounds the other. The impellers 3, 4 are both connected to the input shaft 1. The outer turbine unit 5 is connected to one output shaft 6, whereas the inner turbine is connected to the shaft 7. The shaft 7 may be driven from the shaft 6 through gearing to give a reversed drive.
