Class 79(5) A steering head for a vehicle steerable wheel comprises a substantially vertical tube, which is pivotally connected to a vehicle axle or to wheel-guiding members and is swingable about a king pin axis, and a stub axle 'which embrances and grips the tube and is made in one piece with a steering arm. The steering head comprises the tube 1 and the stub-axle 2 which is forged and is hot-pressed, cold-pressed or shrunk on to the tube 1. The member 2 comprises an axle portion 3, a middle portion 4 embracing and gripping the tube 1 and the steering arm 5.
