A steering knuckle arrangement for a steerable driving axle comprises a forked axle body, a forked steering knuckle, knuckle pins 1, 2 pivotally connecting the pairs of fork arms 3, 5 and 4, 6 respectively, and an axial thrust bearing 12 disposed on the pin 1 externally of the arms 3, 5. The pin 1 is clamped in the arm 5 with a head 10 abutting the arm, and is journalled in a bearing sleeve 11 in the arm 3. The thrust bearing 12 is enclosed by a two-part casing of which one part 13 transmits the bearing load to the arm 3 and the other part 14 is supported by a nut 16 adjustably screwed on a reduced portion of the pin 1 for varying the clearance 23 between the arms 3, 5. The pin 2 is clamped in the arm 6 and secured by a retainer 8, and is journalled in a bearing sleeve 9 in the arm 4.
