Abstract
712,953. Aerials. WOLSEY TELEVISION, Ltd., and MARTINDILL, B. G. June 19, 1953 [July 7, 1952], No. 17032/52. Class 40 (7) A mounting for a number of aerial rods comprises a support consisting of two insulating members 1, 2 secured together and having a plurality of bores radiating from the axis of a core member 6 rotatable relative to the said mounting and also of insulating material. The core member 6 has four equally spaced radial bores 10 with an electric connection 11 joining rod mounting studs 12 in three of the bores together and to a terminal member 14. The stud 12 in the fourth bore is connected to a separate terminal 15. With the core member arranged as shown in Fig. 1 rods 16 may be entered in the vertical and horizontal bores and secured to studs 12 to form either an inverted T or an L aerial. If the core member is turned through 45 degrees aerial rods may be entered as shown by the dotted lines in Fig. 1 and secured on two of the studs 12 to form a V aerial. The support may be carried by a bracket 17 rotatably attached to a base plate 19 so that the aerial may be adjusted in direction.
