710,430. Fence posts. DUKE, I. A. Sept. 17. 1951 [Sept. 18, 1950], No. 21833/51. Class 45 A fencing post 1 is provided with corrugations or recesses 2 in the surface of one side or wall and has clip means 4 loosely mounted to pass around the post to affect engagement with a wire 3 at two positions, the wire or clip engaging in one of the corrugations or recesses in the post so that the wire with the clip connected to it can be moved as may be required for the purpose of adjusting the vertical position of the wire relatively to the post. The corrugations may be arranged in groups as shown or can be arranged in a continuous series. When arranged in groups, holes 10 may be provided through the post between the groups in which staples can be secured to support additional wires. The post is of wood or concrete.
