Abstract

707,366. Suction cleaner nozzles. KOOPERATIVA FORBUNDET FORENING u.p.a. Dec. 17, 1952 [Feb. 9, 1952], No. 31996/62. Class 8 (1). Height adjustment of a suction cleaner nozzle having at least one suction slot 4, Fig. 5, is effected by a rotatable shaft 14 extending longitudinally within the nozzle and having a stud 12 carried eccentrically on each end and carrying nozzle supporting sliding members on rollers 11, and means e.g. a knob 15 carried by one of the studs 12 for rotating the shaft 14. The knob 15 is held in any of three positions by a ball-catch 18. A brush 6, Fig. 3, slidably mounted behind the nozzle is clamped against the action of a downward biasing spring 7a by a screw 9. In a modification the brush slide carries pins projecting laterally from the ends and engaging inclined slots in a longitudinally, displaceable bar held by a clamping screw.
