706,376. Ambulances. NYSTROM, K. G. March 18. 1952 [March 19, 1951]; No. 7004/52. Class 108(1) An omnibus may be converted into an ambulance vehicle by fitting internally a number of bow-shaped members 25 to the uprights 24 of which are pivoted stretchersupporting brackets 22, 23. The bows 25 are bolted at 30 to the floor 26 and are provided with screw-adjusters 27, 28 to adapt the bows to different internal dimensions of the vehicle. The uprights 24 are braced from the side frame member 39 by a pair of arms 34 which are also adjustable. The normal roof supports in the omnibus are replaced by the longitudinal beam 41 provided with appropriately positioned spacers 43, 44.
