373,164. Vehicle rest bars. STEWART, A. C., Inverhaggernie, Crianlarich, and CAMPBELL, J., Clan House, Doune, both in Perthshire. Nov. 18, 1930, No. 34675. [Class 108 (ii).] In a loading device for attachment to the rear part of a vehicle, adjustable feet 20 are provided on the uprights 16 for relieving the load on the rear wheels. As shown, these are mounted on racks 33 moved by pinions 35 within the guides 34, a double pawl 37 being provided to prevent motion in either direction according to whether the spring 38 is connected at 39 or 40.
