Class 125 (3) A stopper 6 usable as a pouring device has a screw-threaded skirt 8 a truncated conical head 10 with a groove 16 containing a packing ring 18 which holds in place a sealing disc 20, central bore 24 corn municating with a spout 26 closed by a hinged lid 30 and an air vent passage 38. Connected to a passage 40 by a venturi restriction 42. The seal 20 is removed by means of a flap 22 and the stopper can then act as a pouring device, the venturi restriction 42 preventing liquid from pouring out of the air vent.
