Abstract

704,817. Weighing. SPARKLETS, Ltd., and ROUSSET, R. P. Feb. 26, 1953 [Dec. 19, 1951], No. 29785/51. Class 143 Apparatus for determining whether capsules contain the correct quantity of fluid (e.g. gas) under pressure comprises a liquid-tight chamber 1 having a tubular extension 2 on which is an adujstable collar 7, the capsule being adapted to be attached at 11 to the side of the chamber 1 opposite the tube 2. The collar 7 is positioned on the tube 2 to a point corresponding to the weight of the capsule when empty, and the apparatus is floated in water (or other specified liquid), the level of the water lying within the upper and lower edges of the collar if the capsule is correctly charged.
