Abstract

704,102. Two-part couplings. CRABTREE & CO., Ltd., J. A., MORGAN, R. W., and COLEMAN, E. July 7, 1952 [Aug. 25, 1951], No. 20077/51. Class 38 (1) Current - carrying socket contacts comprise a channelsection member 1 having a flange 2 to which a resilient blade 4 is secured by a screw 3 which also holds the contact in the socket. A wire is clamped in the channel and and a flat pin 6 can be inserted between the blade 4 and one wall of the channel 1. The socket may have the earth contact and shutter mechanism described in Specification 704,100.
