Class 5 (2) Teat suckling devices for young animals incorporate a floating ball valve E in an inclined or upright induction tube portion D situated within the liquid-feeding, bucket. A, the valve rising to obstruct the return flow of liquid when suction ceases and falling to obstruct the sucking of air when the liquid supply is exhausted. As shown, the induction tube G, carrying one or more teats L, is clamped at H to the feeding bucket. The tube D housing the floating ball valve E is connected by a U-tube B with a strainer F and by a U-tube C with the induction tube G.
