Abstract

760,391. Animal feeding appliances. SARSBY, U. M. July 20, 1953 [Sept. 10, 1952], No. 22756/52. Class 5(2). In a feeding appliance for young animals, teats 9 fitted in a trough 3 and supplied from a reservoir 1 are partially submerged in liquid so that the animals' mouths will come in contact with a free surface of liquid while sucking liquid through the teats. As shown, partitions 6 are arranged on either side of each teat. A nuzzling pad 11 of soft resilient material is provided and the liquid is heated by means of an electric heating element 12.
