Abstract

701,426. Conveyers. SCHLOEMANN AKT.-GES. Feb. 18, 1952 [March 29, 1951], No. 4192/52. Class 78 (1) In means for transferring rolled bars from a pair of parallel roller conveyers 3, 4 of different widths to a cooling bed composed of a stationary rack 5 and a movable rack 6, the narrower conveyer 4 is disposed adjacent to the bed. A vertically reciprocating member 8 having a sloping top 7 works between the conveyers and transfers the bars from the conveyer to the sloping top 9 of a stationary member 10. A similar reciprocating member 11 transfers bars from the conveyer 4 to a stationary shelf 13 which may be on the stationary rack 5. A single stroke of the movable rack 6 transfers the bars from the supports 9, 13 to the notches 14, 15, respectively, of the rack 5.
