Abstract

1,144,954. Sewing. SLUMBERLAND GROUP Ltd. 8 April, 1968 [13 April, 1967; 28 April, 1967], Nos: 16917/67 and 19599/67. Heading D1G. Apparatus for the manufacture of mattresses in which a sewing machine moves on rails 33 around the article characterised in that the article support 32 comprises a conveyor 37 to move the article from the support. The conveyor may be of the roller or chain type. The mattress may be turned over by a bar 46 which will lift the mattress on end, a movement of the conveyor while the bar is fully raised causing the mattress to fall over backwards.
