Abstract
PURPOSE: To transfer conveyed goods for sure with safety between a conveyor and a bogie by making the bogie movable horizontally as well as vertically along the conveyor.
CONSTITUTION: A pair of conveyor bogies 20 are provided on bases 17 arranged on both sides of a belt conveyor 18 with horizontal racks 19 between. The bogie 20 runs on rails 21 with rollers 22 between. On the bogie 20, a lifter table 28 is provided with vertical racks 27 between, and moved vertically by vertical movement pinions 26. The attachment 18a of a belt 18 is caught by a synchronizing ratchet 31 of the bogie 20 for moving the belt 18 and the bogie 20 synchronously. The bogie 20 is adapted to be moved vertically and horizontally by means of a common rail cylinder 30 for taking precise timing of vertical and horizontal movements.
