Abstract
700,562. Valves, regulating temperature in. THOMPSON PRODUCTS, Inc. April 6, 1951, No. 8024/51. Drawings to Specification. Class 135. [Also in Group XXVII] In a hollow article such as a poppet valve containing a coolant such as sodium, the wall of the coolant chamber is provided with a coating containing zinc and/or silver and adapted to be set by the coolant. The coating may be applied by any suitable process such as electrodeposition or hot dipping. A suitable coating substance is brass containing 69 per cent copper, 30 per cent zinc and 1 per cent tin. Specification 563,071, [Group XXVII], is referred to.
